Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in preschool at the moment
We had a brilliant morning at Hill Holt Wood learning outside!
We visited Collingham Fire Station on Friday 23rd July!
The firefighters told us all about what they do and what they have to wear when they are fighting fires. They also told us about the importance of smoke alarms and what we have to do if we hear our smoke alarm going off at home.
We looked at the fire engine and all the equipment that is carried.
As we listened so well to the talk, we were allowed to sit in the fire engine and we were even allowed to spray the hoses!
We had an absolutely amazing time.
A massive thank you to the crew at Collingham!
We have already enjoyed looking at Pirates this term as well as Under the Sea and Handa’s Surprise, looking at lots of different fruits as well as keeping our bodies healthy. Thank you to all parents who paid for their children to come dressed up for our Pirate week.
Here are some photos from our Pirates week – we all had lots of fun dressing up (including the teachers); made pirate hats; explored our very own pirate ship; counted and weighed pirate treasure and went on many treasure hunts; made our own pirate ships outside and investigated floating and sinking through making our own mini boats out of different materials, amongst many other things!
It was a fun packed two weeks of learning!
The Preschool has set up an Amazon Smile account. This means that if you follow the link below and shop through Amazon Smile, we receive 0.5% of your purchases in donations when you set us up as charity of choice. This does not cost you anything extra but will hopefully make a big difference to the Preschool.
