Admission, Sessions & Times and Fees

Admission

We offer sessional care to children aged from 2 ¾ to statutory school age.

To express an interest in a place for your child, please complete an “application for a place” form available from staff at the pre-school. This can be done at any time regardless of your child’s age – whether just a few months old or nearly 2 ¾ !

Children are offered places when they reach 2 years and 9 months. 2 sessions per week will be offered up until the term after the child turns 3. Then sessions will gradually increase to a total of 5 sessions per week subject to availability.

When your child is due to start you will be asked to fill in a variety of enrolment forms such as contact details and any relevant medical information.

Sessions and times

We are open 5 days each week between 9:00 am and 11:50 am and on Friday afternoons from 12:45 pm to 3:15 pm. Our times are set to enable parents/carers with school-age children to accompany them to and from school as well as taking children to pre-school. Occasionally, should numbers dictate, we offer another afternoon session on Thursdays.

We generally follow the term dates of schools in the Nottinghamshire County Council area.

Fees

The fees per session are ………….. payable half termly in advance.

If you find it easier to pay weekly, this can be arranged. Fees must still be paid if children are absent without notice for a short period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, talk to a member of staff or the committee chairperson. For your child to keep his/her place at the pre-school, you must pay the fees or we must receive nursery education funding for your child.

  • The aim of our Pre-School…

... is to enhance the development and education of children below statutory school age within a parent and staff managed community based group in close co-operation with parents.
